The brisket was great and I loved the fried okra. Highly recommend this place if you are ever in Chickamauga. ”

“ Went with my whole family and a first time experience. My sister lives in Chickamauga and has frequented Choos. I must say that it lived up to the hype. We went about 45 minutes prior to closing, I could tell it had been quite a day for the staff, but they were still fantastic. The manager, I mean I assume he was the manager, came over and checked on this a few times and gave us some recommendations to which he was very right. We had the catfish basket, the shrimp basket, pulled pork sandwich, and salad bar with a slew of sides. All of it was amazing but I would say the catfish was the best. The seasoning is top-notch. Also, I loved the hush puppies and the fried okra was fantastic. I definitely recommend. Real hometown,, quaint, family style place. ”

“ If you are looking for local down home southern cooking and BBQ, then this is your place. Between the 4 of us, we had the fried catfish, shrimp poboy (buffalo) pulled pork sliders and the salad bar. Everything had generous portions and was cooked to perfection. The staff were all very friendly and the service was quick. Building and dining areas were all very clean and in good maintenance. Definitely a must stop if in the Chickamauga area. ”

“ I love their food and most everything about the facility. HOWEVER....the last two times I got the hamburger steak, it was so over cooked I couldn't cut it with anything! I asked the last time, when we ordered at the register, to please not over cook it. I was told they don't take special requests for how it is prepared. They just cook it one way. NOT really what should have been said to us. ”
